PENN's Milestones
PENN Trust founded in Chennai by Mr VS Sridhar and co-founders following the 2019 crimes against women.
Registered on Darpan (TN/2022/0327109). Obtained 80G certification for tax-exempt donations.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs CSR certification received (CSR 00053163).
First major CSR partnership with Chennai Port Authority. Conducted 10+ workshops.
Expanded CSR partnerships to Samsung, Microchip Technologies, and Kalakshetra Foundation. Scaled community outreach programs.
Launched the Penn Purple Champion nomination initiative celebrating men who champion women's safety. Over 500 nominees.
